National Mosque Open Day 2025
ABOUT NMOD
The Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) is facilitating National Mosque Open Day (NMOD) on Saturday, 25 October, 2025.
Participating mosques include: Lakemba, Cabramatta, Young, Regents Park, Rahma Mosque Guildford, Parramatta (NSW); Slack’s Creek (QLD); Hobart (TAS); Palmerston (NT) and Cranbourne (VIC), who will all simultaneously open their doors to members of their local communities – regardless of their religious beliefs.
National Mosque Open Day (NMOD) is an annual, nationwide event inaugurated in 2014 – and 2025 promises to be the best in its 11-year history.
The iconic Masjid Ali Bin Abi Taleb (Lakemba Mosque) at 61-65 Wangee Rd, Lakemba, is Australia’s most famous mosque and we would like to invite you to help us celebrate NMOD between 10am-2pm on Saturday, 25 October, 2025.
